Our Bangor Office
The ERA Dawson-Bradford Co. roots go back to the early 1970s when Jon and Nancy joined Country & Coastal Realty with Bill Baker, Carroll Wilson, and Dewey Gosselin. C&CR was located at the corner of Main and Cedar Street, behind the famous Gosselin’s Bakery. In 1974 the Dawsons purchased the company, changed the name to Dawson Co., and moved the offices to 143 Broadway in Bangor.

Our Orono Office
In 1989, Dawson Co. acquired the ERA Bradford Real Estate and Insurance Agency of Orono. Established in 1953 by Richard Bradford, the Bradford Agency became a welcome subsidiary. At that time, the company name became ERA Dawson-Bradford Co. This acquisition allowed the company to provide a wider range of services and expand its service area for its clients and customers. The insurance services are now offered at both the current Orono and Bangor offices, and several ERA Dawson-Bradford Co. real estate agents service the Orono office location.

Our Rockland Office
In 2022 ERA Cousens in Rockland, Maine joined ERA Dawson-Bradford Co., expanding our reach to serve the greater Maine community with a wonderful host of new and experienced agents from this area. ERA Cousens joined ERA the same year as ERA Dawson-Bradford in 1976. Owners Russell and Nancy Wolfertz have played an integral role in the Rockland community for over 40 years now!
ERA Cousens has taken pride in the fact that they have maintained their family-owned business ever since, and continue to put both their clients and agents first all while providing national and international service.
